The sequel of the Street Fighter series,will be the first brand new Street Fighter game released since Street Fighter III 3rd Strike.
The Game will include some of the original characters such as Ryu, Ken, Guile, Honda, Sagat or Chun-li amongst others. And four new ones Abel, Crismon Viper, Rufus andEl Fuerte.
Street Fighter IV fighters and backgrounds are rendered in 3D, but the gameplay is on a traditional 2D system. The game is closer to Street Fighter II than its sequels, and as such the “parry system” from Street Fighter III has been dropped. A new system called “Focus Attacks” has been introduced, as well as Ultra moves. Also it will feature an online multiplayer support.
